Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well and I wish you a happy new year!

I need your advice on F6 TX. What is your recommended approach to passing this exam? The last time I studied 4 hours every day non-stop, but I couldn’t make it.

Do I first need to cover the syllabus, read Opentuition notes on every chapter, and then watch the video lectures? Once the syllabus is complete I need to start the Kit or I should start simultaneously the Kit too. Secondly, are the open tuition notes enough, or need to read the textbook too?

I believe my approach to studying was not accurate, please advise on this! I’m very hopeless.

    Kind regards,

Firstly the Opentuition notes are designed to be used in conjunction with the video.o lectures. Use the together. I would also suggest making use of the ACCA study hub. I think with question practice the most important thing is to allow enough time for adequate question practice. I would use Opentuition as the backbone of your studies. I would base your study schedule around the notes and video lectures. If you choose to study whole course before undertaking practice questions from the kit allow plenty of time to allow yourself to re-cover areas where you might run into difficulties. If you struggle with anything in particular, make use of the ask the tutor forum for specific help. In terms of actual studying, you mentioned working 4 hours a day non-stop. I would encourage you to take adequate breaks. In terms of concentration, it’s easier to study for about 50- 60 mins maximum. I would then recommend taking a 10-15 minute break. Also feel free to ask about any problems you have on this forum.
