Hi all I have received 9 exemptions for ACCA and am taking the AFM paper. After attending the class I realise this is a really tough paper as I do not have FM basics. What will be the study plan since exam is in June . Any advise or anyone with study tips please.
Welcome to our forums!
I don’t know which class you are refering to, but if you were following our AFM course with the notes and John’s fabulous lectures, I believe he does the difficult topics (e.g. hedging) starting with the basics (i.e. he covers them rather than assumes knowledge of them).
I don’t think there are any shortcuts to going back through the topics you are having difficult with. Head over to this page https://opentuition.com/acca/afm and download the notes – topics are evident from the contents page and linked to the relevant notes. You will find all the lectures listed here https://opentuition.com/acca/afm/acca-advanced-financial-management-afm-lectures – most are only 15-30 minutes each.
Then if you have any questions about the lectures, you can ask John here https://opentuition.com/forum/ask-acca-tutor-forums/ask-the-tutor-acca-advanced-financial-management-afm-exams
