Input VAT incurred on buying cars used 100% for business purpose is recoverable.
Inout VAT on Running costs and repairs for car used for private purpose is also recoverable.
What about Input VAT incurred on buying cars used for private purpose. Is it recoverable ?

No input VAT recoverable on a car purchased where any private use occurs – if a car is leased instead of purchased and had some private use then 50% of the input VAT may be recovered
