    Hi
I’ve got 4 papers left to be an ACCA affiliate. I have 30 months of experience as an accountant in different industries as worked for an accounting firm and would love to work in the uk. I wonder if anyone here knows of any firm who recruits accountants from abroad.
Also, I lived in the uk for a bit and got back to india but now i want to go back to the uk – I am an Indian by nationality.

Any help would be highly appreciated,

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi guys..
I have just finished my ACCA..It took me long time because of various reasons.. I am in Toronto right now and started ACCA in London UK.. In Toronto, ACCA is less known and I have lost all my hope to get a career and stuck in odd jobs for survival..When I came across this forum ..I thought you might help me to regain my lost confidence and give me some practical suggestions to set my foot in the promised career prospect that ACCA gave us when we started….
    take care…

    Dear all!

This post was very helpful, even if it’s old.

    How are things now?

At the moment I am studying for ACCA and I am planning to relocate to the UK in one year time. Hopefully, I will have passed exams from F1 to F8.

At the moment I am accounting analyst for IBM Slovakia with 3 years experience in the same company. I will be 30 years old and I would like to work in accounting. Does the age matters?

Would you suggest to start to look for jobs via internet, in order to arrive there with already a position?
Should I introduce myself as part-qualified accounant?
Although I know that London is probably the safest bet, I would be interested in the North-West, (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds). What do you think about it?
