haha, it was just reference to your username.
You should be fine i’m sure. At least half of the exam is common sense in terms of identifying deficiencies and correcting them and also tests of controls and substantive procedures make up quite a few marks. Make sure you know internal control and corporate governance well too and you should be fine for 50%.

If you need help with tests of control and substantive procedures, i found a video yesterday which is really useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzoKK3UcGr8

Thanks. See for that I am hoping Purchase system comes or sales. (Haven’t been through payroll system, only cos it was in June paper and less likely to be tested again).
Internal controls? What;s that like internal audits and all?

I have not done corporate governance and Going concern :/

Thanks for the video will watch when I am on break.

You giving this exam too Aleksanders18? Good luck if I don’t come back on here.

Yeahh i’m doing it on thursday, good luck to you too.
I wouldn’t rule out wages because if people didn’t do too well on it in june, the examiner is quite likely to ask it again. There were also recently two technical articles on the audit of wages and the control environment in terms of internal control.

Corporate governance is one i definitely wouldn’t miss out though. I need to go over going concern thoroughly myself and modified/unmodified opinions and the different paragraphs

    Thank you.
Articles? I haven’t read them (cry face) In all the predictions, it’s mostly purchase system. I have been through inventories and I feel it’ll be tested on that.

What sort of questions would they ask on corporate governance?? (strengths weakness?)

I have been through modified and unmodified. written representation and all those documenting evidence (ICQ/Narrative notes)

Doubt going concern will come seeing it was in June paper.

I just hope the paper isn’t too bad.

On corp gov, it could be many things. I’ve seen in past papers scenario questions asking what parts don’t really comply with CG and recommendations on how to correct them. need to know the principles of CG. It leads onto audit/remuneration/nomination committees.
    Articles are here https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/acca-qual-student-journey/qual-resource/acca-qualification/f8/technical-articles.html

But yeah, I think i’ve roughly covered everything so just some last minute work and past papers tomorrow then i’m going for it :p

Nope, I was doing really long hours at work in the first half of the year so didn’t have time, which I regret because it looked an easy paper. And I’m doing F9 the day after and maybe booking F4 CBE for the weekend after
