“Another key reason for the auditor changing is that the auditor chooses not to stand for election for another year”.
why does an auditor has to stand for election, is it because they are removed ,why if they are removed the client wants them back?
Auditors have to be elected / re-elected each and every year!
It’s to prevent auditors being elected for long periods and exposing client companies to the prospect of having to pay enormous damages in compensation when they choose to change auditors
