    Hi,
I am attempting P3 in dec for the first time. I am using mainly opentuition notes and lectures.
I notice that in the final chapters there are chapters on forecasting, ratio analysis, marginal costing etc.

Am I correct in thinking that P3 is mainly a theory exam with little or no “number crunching”?

Should I pay a great deal of attention to these areas or is there any other areas I should be paying more attention to?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I wasn’t going to do P3 this session but I misunderstood the ACCA optional papers rule and therefore have started studying “fast track” for P3 if possible.

    Thanks in advance

Very basic number crunching, generally looking at analysis of company performance. You will be expected to identify the targets and then speak on them.

@USA01 – This was a question about P3 – Please could you move your comments to the P2 section thanks 🙂

In the meantime, anyone got any suggestions about which subjects in P3 I should absolutely concentrate on (if any) ?

    Thanks
