Quick poll on the ACCA email sent to finalists in error

@catsarah sorry to hear that, I have had a similar experience…
I also get extra time because of my dyslexia, in one exam when they called time up, I obviously continued writing, the invigilator came up and in a raised voice told me my time was up and to put my pen down, so I had to correct her and luckily she realised her mistake.
This may not sound much but I’m extremely embarrassed about my dyslexia as it is and to have the whole exam room looking at you was horrible. I had to try to forget it and finish the exam.
The invigilator was really sorry after and I know it was a honest mistake but I still thought it was incredible poor.

Luckily I passed the exam though but if I hadn’t I would have been fuming.

I received the email. Even before that I was confident that I will pass and I did pass.

Those who didn’t pass and have had multiple attempts I’ve been there and I know it’s very demotivating. But if you stay focused, practice more. You will pass.

I am a slow learner and I developed a way that worked for me every time. It might be worth looking at it. You may find some good tips.

Hi all thanks for the advise and support . It’s not easy sitting these exam for any body never mind a dyslexia person who can be distracted by the smallest thing. Just heart broken because I know I could have done better if I hadn’t been distracted and also the fact it was my final exam. The Acca don’t do much to support people. I guess I need to just look to December now

I received the email and i passed but it did say that i am still to complete the ethics module – i have completed it.
I just deleted the email and thought it was an error.

Between this and the fact that they originally said 12th October for exam results it’s pretty poor.
