Hello Gromit
hope you are well
i have two quick questions.
1) i have registered to give p3 in sep. do i have enough time to prepare for this if i study hard and dedicate substantial amount of time towards this? is it doable in 35 days?
2) i have noticed that pass rates in the last seven years for professional papers like p1 to p3 have been in the range from 47 to 51. however the pass rates of papers like f7, f5 and f8 have been much lower in the range from 37 to 40.
is there any reason why this is the case since my understanding have been that professional papers are meant to be far more difficult than f papers. however the pass rates are telling a different story
please let me know if possible
35 days is enough for P3. You have to finish the text book first then practicing exam kit. You have to achieve a good grip on Moudels. Lack of practice is the reason of being failure. So attempt mock as much as you can. On exam write full mark (100). I hope that helps you to pass P3.
1 Yes, 35 days can provide enough time.
2 Yes, the optional paper pass rates are lower. Nothing else to say on that – it’s just a fact.
As Abdullah says, practising questions is absolutely vital.
