Questions examined before and after 2010

Hi John

I was stuck in Katmai (12/09) and before annoying you I chose to use the search facility of this forum and came across other queries regarding the same question.
I was pleased to see your response to them that questions of this type are not likely to be asked again due to the examiner change.

I personally found questions before 2010 to be unfriendly and awkwardly challenging.
Coming across these often make me lose confidence in my preparation that I gained through practicing the latest, more clearer questions

My question is should I almost not worry at all if I face too many problems in the earlier questions?
(Note : I am absolutely comfortable regarding the latest questions of all topics)
