How do i make my revision of past question papers effective, i can revise a paper, i find i have got anything to learn except the cramming that make me forget answers as i try to remember what i crammed.
September 27, 2012 at 7:29 am #105221One suggestion is that you make use to the past exam question analysis that is in the P5 section of this site. You can sort this by topic. So, I you revise something like EVA, then you can look at/try suitable past questions.
Attempting questions is important because there is not a lot of new technical material in this paper that wasn’t introduced at F5 (new areas include EVA and failure prediction). However, the style of questions is very different.

@ gromit
Could you please arrange a “Revision Session” this term for people who’re resiting this paper. I am certain that there’re plenty of people who would love to have you as their P5 Mentor !!! Awaiting your optimistic reply 🙂

Not sure what you mean by a revision session.
September 28, 2012 at 7:19 am #105225Yes F5 articles would be useful as revision of some techniques that re-appear in P5
