Dear tutor
Can you tell me what the best question to attempt on the past papers would be, regarding analytical procedures? Perhaps with reference to trade payables and accruals? It would be a great help.

Sorry, travelling at the moment with little access to past papers. All I can suggest is that you look through F8 papers from Dec 07 – particularly those which give tou excerpts from FS and ask you to identify unusual changes and to suggest what might have caused them. I can’t particularly remember any to do with payables/accruals, but looking at payables days, changes in teh absolute levels, this yr’s accruals compared to last year’s would be the sort of thing.
