    Dear sir ,
In chapter 6 example 1 is it necessary to know about the feasible area to be able to know the maximum contribution or the optimum production plan or we can just calculate it by simultaneous equation directly.
    kind regards,
    Gooljar Zaahin

Firstly you do need to understand the term ‘feasible area’ because you could be asked about it.

As far as using simultaneous equations directly, you can do this but if you have not identified the optimum point by moving out the iso-profit line then you need to check all the corners in order to identify the optimum.

I do explain this in my free lectures, and I hope that you are not using the notes without watching the lectures because that would be pointless. The notes are simply lecture notes and are not enough on their own – it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes.

Also, you can obviously not be expected to draw the graph (as again I explain in the lectures) but you can be given a graph and be expected to interpret it and be able to prove that you understand it.

Yes sir I did watch all the lectures but i just wanted to make sure because I did work the example on my own ,I found out that I will have the answer without drawing the graph where it shows the feasible area. But don’t worry I did understand how to identify the feasible area and the optimum point because it might be asked in exam .I asked this question if its important in case of calculations question.Furthermore I would like to thank you a lot for all the lectures. After practicing all the questions after watching your free lectures give me so much confident .I did follow classes in the past in my country at an exam centre ,most of the chapters i didn’t understand .In fact they confused me because I did accounting up to HSC level . The only way to thank you and your team for all the lectures that helped me a lot is through donation. I will donate to your site as soon as i get paid.Thank you very much sir ,I will give you an update on my result.
