    Sir,

In this question the examiner has used the tabular form for calculating the value of b. As the question asked about 16th batch so it can be used but what if the question asks about 17th batch, how do we then calculate the value of b for that??

    Thanks

It seems you must be using an old edition of the Revision Kit, because in the current edition of the BPP Kit question 165 is nothing to do with learning curves.

I assume from what you have written that the question is asking you to calculate the learning rate. If so, then you could not be asked to calculate the learning rate from 17 batches – it would involve the use of antilogs and is not in the syllabus. You can only be asked to calculate the learning rate using the doubling rule.

It will help you to watch my free lectures on learning curves. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F5 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
