Forums › OBU Forums › Question…. Mr Hammad Ahmed Qureshi
Hi Hammad I don’t know if you recall helping me in May for my first submission of RAP, project Topic 8.
Unfortunately I have failed and needed some advise… the examiner advised me that my RAP is missing an 2information gathering” section, what is this as this was not mentions by my BPP RAP guide.
Please help
Kind Regards

go through info pack, you will know what is this.
Yes i do remember. RAP information gathering is explanation of the sources from which you have gathered the data and converted that in to information for marker. You need to explain:
– On which primary and secondary sources you have research upon?
– How they have helped you in research process?
– What limitations you have faced through out information gathering process?
– How you have overcame those limitations?
You need to explain all sources you have used in your list of references.
Your primary sources can be:
– Questionnaires you have prepared
– Interviews of employees and executives etc
Secondary sources are:
– Internet
– Annual Reports (For Topic 8)
– Study Texts
– Student Accountant etc
Ensure you resolve each word written by market carefully. It would be better to make bullet points of markers comments for rectification of mistakes.
Refer info pack 2013/2014 also.

Thank You.
