Hello Sir,
I bought the official ACCA practice test and there is a question I could not understand.
Could you please help me ?
Kolb’s learning cycle comprises active experimentation, experience, observation and reflection and which other element?
1)Positive reinforcement
2)Abstract conceptualisation
3)Application
4)Assimilation
The answer was “Abstract conceptualization” and the explanation is” The fourth element of Kolb’s experimental learning cycle is abstract conceptualisation”.
I was sure the answer was Application, because I read on the BPP that the formation of abstract conceptualization is the third element.
Could you please make this clear to me?
Thank you for your time
Cinzia
You are correct. The test answer is wrong. The normal order is:
Experience, observation and reflection, abstract conceptualisation, and finally experimentation……then go round again seeing what the new experience is.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Actually I bought the ACCA practice test from the official ACCA portal. I will report it so that other students do not get confused.
Thank you
Cinzia
