The question contained 7 marks for the construction contract and its extracts for the comprehensive income & financial position.
For the stage of completion the company firstly used costs incurred divided by total costs but then switched to costs certified divided by selling price.
If I wrongly used the first stage of completion instead of the second one but my workings and treatment of the contract contract is correct, do I not gain any marks? Or?
Can someone please tell me for sure what do they believe about this? Is very important for me.
Hi
Sorry, but it isn’t THAT important to you – there’s absolutely nothing that can be said or done to change the outcome of the marking exercise.
You MAY earn some marks even though you used the wrong figures but the correct principles.
I haven’t yet seen the exam but, when I do, I’ll be posting my answers on this site
