    Hi,

Is there anyone who has done the question 107 of BPP Kit relating to Lease?

The question requires to calculate non-current liability of Fresco’s BS as at 30 Sep 20X5. I think that we should:
    1. calculate the balance of liabilities as at 30/9/X5 and 30/9/X6
    2. calculate the difference which is the current liability as at 30/9/X5
    3. subtract it from total liability as at 30/9/X5 to arrive at non-current liability.

However the answer given by the author is to calculate the difference between liabilities as at 30/9/X4 and 30/9/X5. In my opinion this should give us the current liability as at 30/9/X4.

    Looking forward to your comments!

Hi, yes it is wrong because if you go ahead and see the Fresco Co section C question in BPP, the answer is different. Its a miss printing issue. I was so worried myself that what I could be doing wrong.
