    Please can you help.

Just doing the consolidation question on 2015 past paper.

Trying to calculate the NCI for House.

The answer has an NCI for 16.38 but i can’t see where the 13m comes from.

    The fair value of the NCI is 30% x 13 million x $4·20 = $16·38 million

It’s the House share capital – 13 million $1 Equity Shares isn’t it?
