Hello,
As mentioned in the SBL Chapter 33 notes about the cultural web, one of the elements is the symbols and titles. But I don’t really get what is the symbols and title really meant. As I refer to the Kaplan exam kit question 2 iCompute, the answer stated that:
“symbols include logos, offices, cars, type of language and terminology commonly used within the organisation. Th language and symbols of technology appear to dominate at iCompute. Software developers constantly scan the horizon for new technological opportunities….”
Why is the scanning for new opportunities related to cultural web symbols?
Can anyone who with the SBL Kaplan Exam Kit help?
Thank you!!
I think the scanning part relates to the fact that software developers are always up to date with new technology, unlike they think of their managers. So using new technology, such as latest smartphones, is a symbol in iCompute.
Please feel free to correct me just in case. Thank you 🙂
