Sir,
1) what features contribute to effective budgeting is not the part of F5 syllabus na?
2) Is Activity based management and its benefit part of our syllabus?
3) There is a question in kit (although not a past Acca exam question) that what distinguishes life cycle costing from more traditional management accounting practices . Its not covered in OT notes. Its for 7-8 marks
1. There is no specific term ‘effective budgeting’. Any mention of effective budgeting is using normal english – i.e. what is necessary to produce effective (i.e. useful) budgets.
2. Yes – it is using an ABC approach.
3. Of course it is covered in the notes and lectures – lifecycle costing and other relevant costing methods are all covered in the lectures. The lectures also explain the relevance and benefits of lifecycle costing. You are obviously expected to use a bit of intelligence in the exam to prove you understand the various methods and are not simply learning rules!!
