The time for the first batch of 50units was 500 hours .The total time for the first 16 batches of 50units was 5731 hours ?
What is the learning rate ?
Just gone through your lecture I’m missing some sort of logic here?
The average time per batch for 16 batches is 5731/16 = 358.175 hours
Therefore, using the doubling rule, if r is the learning rate (and since 16 means doubling four times) then: 500 x r^4 = 358.175
Therefore r = fourth root of (358.175/500) = 0.92 (or 92%)
Thank you
