Many years ago I was involved on an audit where there were three employees working entirely on the fixed asset register and their fixed assets were worth nothing like $60 million
A copy of the fixed asset register would fill 4 or 5 separate audit files!
“Copy of production data from each factory to verify half of them produce the chemical”
The history / background of the client on the permanent audit file should show this together with the completed notes from the initial interview with the chief executive about the entity activities and any change in those activities since last year
What about copies of directors’ board meeting minutes?
“Copy of feasibility study”
What are you going to do with this? Decorate your bedroom?
“Copy of correspondence sent to company to verify change in regulations”
From whom? The local newspaper?
Are you not going to obtain a copy of confirmations from the entity lawyers?
Naina, there’s so much easy stuff missed off this plan
Sorry to be so brutal 🙁
