In money market hedging answer of kenduri qs 50 in boo kit

Why in invest now they divide by 4 ..I don’t understand it

Because interest rates are always quoted as annual rates, but we only need it for 3 months. With 12 months in a year, the interest for 3 months will be 3/12 of the annual rate.
