thank you for the insight on the mark distribution and the technique of writing.
when you talked about the distribution of marks then only I realised that the marking scheme included 11 matters which were identified for which two marks is allotable for a properly evaluated one.so if we write 7 or 8 properly evaluated points do we get the maximum mark of 13.?
The simple answer to that is “Yes”
You don’t have to identify EVERY point in order to score full marks
You can, with practice, identify for yourself where the marks are and what you need to do to attain those marks
12 marks? 12 points / 12 sentences
Typically you’ll be expected to “identify and explain”
That’s two requirements – two marks
So find 6 things to mention and pick up 2 marks for each of those 6
It really isn’t rocket science
The danger here is that you find something that you would really like to write a 10,000 word thesis on … and it’s only worth 2 marks
Exam technique? Determine in your mind where the marks are and how they are distributed. Then target those marks
