    Hi Mike,

For the risk question in Q1, do you recommend splitting your answer so that you write 1/2 sentences (2/3 lines) and breakup the Materiality calculation, the accounting treatment and the risk into separate paragraphs, or would you recommend putting all 3 into 1 big paragraph?

I personally prefer having 3 separate paragraphs, as its easy for me to see at the end that i have covered all 3 points, but wondering if it makes your answer unprofessional, and do you end up not scoring for such short sentences?

What does a marker prefer to see? Which method makes it easy to score marks.

    Regards

“… or would you recommend putting all 3 into 1 big paragraph?”

I would NEVER recommend big paragraphs. NEVER, EVER

“What does a marker prefer to see?”

Without a shadow of a doubt, a marker prefers short sentences / paragraphs

“Which method makes it easy to score marks.”

You should be able to guess my response to this, by now. However, in case there’s any doubt left in your mind, marks are easier to accumulate when you use shorter sentences / paragraphs

    OK?
