Taken from iasplus
Financial asset: any asset that is:
a contract that will or may be settled in the entity’s own equity instruments and is:
puttable instruments classified as equity or certain liabilities arising on liquidation classified by IAS 32 as equity instruments
I don’t understand the logic that why puttable Instrument is an financial asset
Because it’s convertible into shares?
