    Sir,let me clarify that when v r making pup adjustment in selling company retnd erngs if subsidiary makes un realize gain then its effect should also be in nci calculation b/C SUBSIDIARY IS NOT WHOLLY OWNED BY PARENT…THANX

    Why have you sudDENLY MOVED INTO UPPER CASE? It isn’t necessary!

    The answer to your question is that the nci is affected, but only because we are going to allocate the subsidiary’s adjusted post-acquisition retained earnings so the nci

    There isn’t a separate adjustment for the nci’s share of the pup

    Its mean that if unrealised gain is 3000 say then v should less parents share from per questn rtd earng of subsidiary

    No! We should do as I do in the videos!

    We should reduce the subsidiary’s retained earnings “per question” by the full $3,000 (per your question)

    Have you watched the videos? Have you worked through the examples in the course notes?

    No where does it split the pup in the way you are suggesting

    Yes i have learned a great deal from ur videos, i m member other accountancy body in their past papers they have also subtracted the unrealised profit subsidiary share 4m in nci calculation when i calculated on ur prescribe pattern there comes differnce in answer….what should i do 2 morrow is paper
