    If the co has insured properties .could thy record provision against damaged property.

    If it would be covered by insurance you should not ignore the matter. You should verify if the amount potentially recoverable from insurers are virtually certain to be received in which case you should show a receivables . If it’s not virtually certain recognise a provision.
