Hello,
In the F8 exam practice questions, one can be asked to, for example, describe 6 control deficiencies with regards to a particular case. The case can contain more than 6 deficiencies.
Would you recommend describing as many deficiencies as possible (in other words more than the required number) in the hope that if one or two are wrong marks could be picked up elsewhere?
How the marker goes about marking answers that contain more than the required number of points?
Thank you.
If the questions asks for 6 you should provide 6. If you mention 9 points instead of 6 and 2 are wrong, the marker should read all and find 6 correct ones.
However, your extra points could irritate the marker (more to read and you haven’t complies with the question instructions) and potentially wastes your time as you have written more than required.
