So, for “replacement for domestic item relief” and “rent a room relief”, after we get the answers of each relief do we add back in property income or do we deduct back? I am a bit confused here, thanks for the help..
Replacement for domestic item is a relief or dedcution from the income when a replacement asset is bought – like for like – is a rented property.
Rent a room relief – either do a normal comp – income less expenses = profit
Or do income less rent a room releif = profit
the lowest of the two answers is taxable
ohh so rent a room relief is taxable benefit thank youuu
