Hey ken ..
Hope your fine.
Iam confused between project manager and benefit owner even after reading the note and watching the lecture. Can you please help me to understand the difference between these two terms?
Project manager looks after and manages the progress of the project, keeping an eye on cost, time, quality and scope. The project manager’s involvement ceases when the project goes live.
A benefit owner is responsible for ensuring that caertin benefits are realised. This person’s involvement starts when the project goes live. For example, the credit controller would be the benefit owner with responsibilities for better debt collection that a new IT system should allow.
