my assumption is that business case and project plan are separate documents but are interdependent and complementary am i correct?
my apologies since this is not the forum for this question but can you tell me what is the mark distribution per point based on the verb used in the questions. for example questions asking for evaluation, per evaluated point brings 2 marks and a question asking for explanation questions, per explained points bring 1.5 marks? if you would not want to go into the specifics can you kindly direct me to a link where i can get the answers

The business case could simply be an NPV calculations + sensitivity/risk assessment. The project plan has dates, responsibilities, costs of each activity etc.
don’t thing the mark plan/verb link is stable. The main distinctions would be between:
list and identify: these would be 1 mark each usually.
describe, analyse and evaluate: these seems to be usually 2 marks each (but occasionally 1.5!)

May 29, 2013 at 1:50 pm #127627However, both would usually be included in a project initiation document…correct?
Thank you
May 29, 2013 at 4:26 pm #127664Correct. the PID should contain all relevant information about the project.
