    Hey john,

I know this is a stupid question, but i need to ask it.

You stress the importance of having two separate sheets, one for the appendices and one for the report. I was wondering, how many pages of the ACCA exam booklet do you think we should leave for the report, since we will have to fill out the report as we do the calculations in the appendix. It would be the worst nightmare if a student runs out of space and reaches the appendix page before completing his report. And what if you end up leaving too much space? Should you just cancel the pages or? I hope you get mu question as i find it paramount to grab these 4 marks! Thanks

Firstly, I would do the appendix with the calculations before writing the report (but obviously leaving enough time to write the main bits of the report to get the professional marks, even if I had not finished the workings).

If you do start writing the report first, then leave 2 or 3 pages before the appendix. You will not lose marks for having blank pages if you do not need all of the space.

If the worst happens and you do run out of pages before you have finished the report, then continue a few pages later. It is no problem as long as you make it clear at the top of each page which part of which question you are attempting.
