I have just passed my Skills level and am struggling to establish the best exam order for the professional exams. From researching, I am getting conflicting results. Some say leave SBL to last as it covers so many areas, some say leave SBR to last as it is so difficult and some say leave the options to last as they are so challenging.
For my options, I am considering Financial Management or Performance Management or Taxation. I got my highest mark in Tax (F6) and found it most interesting but I do not work in tax so wondered if it would be too hard.
Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated. To confirm I work full time and self-study.
ACCA offers guidance on choosing options – e.g. here for ATX https://www.accaglobal.com/pk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p6/why-choose-this-paper.html
I suggest you consider whether any of the options are right for you at this time and, if not, consider SBL or SBR as your next exam.
I had the same questions woosballard, in the end I just did them in the sequential order, P1,P2,P3, P5 and P7.
I honestly don’t think it makes a difference what order you do them in as you have to them at some point anyway!
