    What is difference between Relativism approach and Consequential approach? They both are depend on post effects of decision so can not distinguish. Please help tutor.

    Relativist means that there is no absolute right/wrong: it’s all relative and depends on your opinion. The opposite is the absolutist approach which says that universal standards of right or wrong apply to all people at all times.

    Consequentialism means that an action is viewed right/wrong depending on its consequences. So, shooting someone to prevent them murdering a family, say, be regarded as a moral action because the consequences of killing the person is saving several.
