Did anyone have a clear explanation on profession and professionalism. I can’t really understand the explanation from the study text.
Profession is specialise in any field (accountant, auditor).
Professionalism primary duty to act in public interest .
Profession externalises what should have –> build up a body of theory and knowledge committed for the public interest
Professionalism internalises what would behave –> work with the body of theory and knowledge stood for the public interest
Any tips on p1? Thanks
profession is the field which you have opted for working mean accounting , auditing and engineering etc
while professionalism is the behavior of delivering your duties under your profession. it normally depends on the education, individual thinking, society and the culture of there country or region.
i think it is enough
