In chapter 14 – Joints products example 3, why have you subtracted 4.8 from 8.4 and 2.20 from 4.5?
To get the net realisable value at the point at which they leave the joint process.
It seems that you might be using our lecture notes without watching the lectures that go with them. It is in the lectures that I work through all the examples, and explain and expand on the notes – they are lecture notes, not a study text.
There is no point in using the notes without watching the lectures. If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then you need to buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from there.
