4000 litres of a chemical were manufactured in a period there is a normal loss of 6% of the material input to the manufacturuing process . there was an abnormal loss of 4% of the material input in the period

how many litres of material (to the nearest litre) were input during the period ?

If 4000 is the output after the total loss of 10% of input (6% + 4%), the input was 4000/90% = 4444
