Sir, how do i get the units of material added when i am only given the figure of units transferred to the next process 1700U, CWIP 300U , OWIP 400U. can these units of material added only by the application of T process Account?. Because it was told to prepare process Account using FIFO method and the Answer was 1600 units.

You really must watch the free lectures because I do explain in the lectures and I cannot type them all out here.

In total there were working on 2,000 units (1,700 were finished and 300 still in progress).

Since 400 were WIP at the start of the period, the other 1,600 must have been started in this period.

Thank you so much sir, i was a little bit confused. I went through my note from your teaching and saw how you drew the T account to always know the finished units which was the missing value and start to finish units.

    Start to finished units in the period was my confusion initially but i saw it from the note and apply same method 1700 u – 400 u= 1300 u or (1600 u – 300 u) = 1300 u.

I wish to have retentive memory because i do forget things so quickly .

Now i got it. Once gain, thank you so much Sir.
