    Dear tutor,

    Please refer to THP co. Question, part c requirement is to calculate the share price and mkt capitalisation of CRX co before the acquisition using p/e ratio method

    Can u explain for me the underlying principle of this method?

    Have you watched the free lectures on the valuation of securities, because I explain the PE ratio method in the lectures.

    You should focus on all of the syllabus – the exam will test everything.

    You should work through the free lectures in chapter order – they are a complete course for Paper F9 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.

    It is the lectures on the valuation of securities. You can find it on the list of lectures that is linked from the main F9 page.

    (But you shouldn’t really pick lectures at random – you should follow them through in chapter order because so many topics affect later topics, and they are designed to be a complete free course. And, of course, you should print out the free lecture notes and have them in front of you while you watch the lectures)
