ABC produces three main products
Which would be the most appropriate chart or diagram for showing total revenue and product analysis month by month?
A) Z Graph
B) Line Graph
C) Pie Chart
D) Component bar chart
The correct answer is D
My answer and doubt
My doubt is why couldn’t B) be the answer
Because line graphs usually is plotted against the x and y variable which is usually the case of
Dependant and independent variable
(Sales usually depend on month)
Therefore I chose the answer as a scatter graph because all the conditions were satisfying
Please help me figure out where i have went wrong sir
A scatter graph is not a line graph.
A line graph could be used to show the total revenue for each month, but the question wants an analysis of the revenue by product. A component bar chart will do this, as I explain in my free lectures.

Sir I watched your video and I understand the concept but I still fail to understand the answer to this question because this answer is conflicting with a theory I know
This is the theory that this answer to this question conflicts with in the below link
the image shows 3 different animals (which in our scenario could be the products)
So I’m still wondering why a line graph cannot be the answer
There is no conflict.
The question wants the total revenue and also an analysis of the total, for each month.
