Sir,
Hope you’re doing well.
In the formulae sheet we are given an annuity table and a present value table .
So when do we use the annuity table?
As, so far we hav only used present value table values.
What is the difference between both?
In the exam the tables and the formula sheet are in the exam software.
The annuity tables are for discounting equal cash flow that occur for several years. The present value tables are for discounting individual flows.
I do explain this in my free lectures on investment appraisal.
The lectures are a complete free course for Paper MA and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
Thank you
