What is the best approach step by step process of preparing your financial statement from the Trial Balance?
For example, do you classify each item, adjust any items based on the notes and then begin with PL, SOCIE and BS?
any information or resources to improve on this would be much appreciated
Have you watched the revision lectures on the F7 pages?
Go to “home”, “F7” and scroll down to “Revision lectures”
I have worked through a number of past exam questions 1 (consolidations), 2 (preparation of financial statements from trial balance) and 3 (cash flows)
Follow those through and you’ll see my approach to these questions
