    Dear Sir/Madam,
I am not able to solve this problem, please help!

Lunches Ltd makes sandwiches for sale to office and over the counter. Content of their
spicy meat special are as follows:
    2 slices of bread
88 grams of spicy meat mix
    44 grams of grated cheese
    20 grams of pickle
It is company policy to guarantee the cooked weight of meat mix to be a minimum of 88
grams. There is a 20% loss of mix weight during cooking. Losses due to accidental damage,
dropped sandwiches, etc. are estimated to be 5% of complete sandwiches.

Anticipated prices of raw materials for the coming period are:
Bread 54 p. per loaf of 18 usable slices.
Spicy meat mix (uncooked) $3.20 per kg
    Cheese $3 per kg
    Pickle $1.60 per kg

    Required:
Prepare the standard cost ingredients cost of one spicy meal special sandwich.

Sorry, but we do not provide full answers to full questions – that is not the purpose of this forum. We answers questions arising from our free lectures or explain anything in answers from your revision kit that is not clear.

You must obviously have an answer to this question in the same book in which you found it, so ask about whatever it is in the answer that you are not clear about and then I will explain.
