In the BPP essential reading, they ellaboarate on how to calculate goodwill, NCI , SFP and Income stmt for the group audits, In the exam – are we supposed to prepare the FS or we jus need to have the knowledge ?

Please remember to use the Ask the tutor forum for a tutor response. AAA is an auditing exam so no you will not have to prepare FS in the exam – but you must know how goodwill is calculated – otherwise how can you audit it?
