Hello Sir,
I really need an advice from you, I recently failed in f9 and almost prepared for f5 for september session. So Im planning to give f5 and f9 in september session.
However, since Im a full time student, I somehow feel that I might be able to cover up f6 as well. So do you reckon that I’ll be able to cover up f6 considering only 5 weeks away from the exam session and so should I give only f5 and f9 or can go for f6 as well ?Thankyou
July 18, 2017 at 11:19 am #397331It is impossible to advise individually as different people learn at different speeds and spend alternative amounts of time studying, I would however suggest that at this point in time you leave the F6 until December as you will be kept busy with F5 and F9 and you need to ensure that you pass both those papers!

July 19, 2017 at 10:28 am #397514It is always disappointing to fail an exam but it can make you stronger and teach you lessons for future exams. In terms of preparation the result would indicate that there are still technical problems that you have, that you need to put right – have you worked through the OT lectures and notes?
In terms of MCQ a common problem is simply not reading carefully enough both the information provided and the exact requirement of the question but students rush in and therefore misinterpret the question!
The ACCA approved providers are the best source of relevant up to date material and if for example you have a revision kit from BPP you might also use one from Kaplan or vice versa.
Questions should only be attempted however, after you have worked through the notes and lectures and should be worked to the correct time allocation and for the written questions with the correct form of presentation.
Good luck in September!July 20, 2017 at 4:55 am #397693Hi ramesh,
Could u pls give me your e-mail id, i can send u some papers to practice for mcqs as well as long questions. And also i strongly advice u to watch the lectures again and once you do a chapter with sir then do the mcqs of that chapter from revision kit of both kaplan and bpp ( kaplan is better for mcqs, the explanation in very good)July 20, 2017 at 6:50 am #397697Hi Ramesh could also send me some paper by email my email isfafabro@hotmail.com

I have suggestions not for F6 only but for OT Notes for the answers of examples
My suggestion is to put the answers at the end of chapters instead of going back to the end
To check the answer. Especially when we read from IPadJuly 23, 2017 at 2:51 am #398163Thank you omayma for your suggestion and I will pass that through for discussion with the other lecturers
