Pre-operational income

Dear All,

I will like to confirm if pre-operational income is subject to tax. i.e. income earned from other sources by a company before the commencement of operation e.g. interest income, Bid income, Dividend Income.

I would think so as you can include as expenses pre-operational expenses for example relating to set up the company. But did not find the confirmation about it.
