Just reduce the pre- acquisition dividend from the cost of the investments.

Hi

Thanks Frost. HOWEVER!!!!

There was ( and I missed it! ) an amendment 18 months ago. Because of the arbitrary measurement of pre-acq profits and the apportionment of the dividend, it has now been decided to credit the full dividend to the Statement of Income without any of it going to reduce the Cost of Investment
