just now i did practice question of this website for f2 ch 1
out of 5 i did answer 4 correctly
question 5
which one will be data rather than information.
correct answer – total purchases over a period
over the period if different units are purchased each will have there invoices based on how many units we have bought which can be data. when we try to calculate total purchases over a period then we need to add up the invoices of that period . so doesn’t that makes it a information because of processing of data (addition). can u please tell the logic how its a data?
over that the total purchase also informs the manager about how much units they have bought on a particular period
i think i got the logic.
even this data might be found out thru calculation but
This total purchase of a period is not of any use for the manager to take decisions. So is it the reason of this being a data and not an information . Please tell if im right?
I have already answered you post regarding this question under the test itself 🙂
Yes – your logic in your last post here is correct.
